Document Type Selection​

Overview​

You choose which document type you will upload or photograph for the selected verification step.

Document type selection screen

What you see:

  • A list of available document types for the selected step.
  • In some cases, a country selection control appears first.

What you do:

  • If prompted, choose your country.
  • Choose the document type you want to use.

What happens next:

  • You go to the camera capture screen to photograph or upload the chosen document.

Entry Conditions​

  • You selected a step that has more than one document type option.

Exit Conditions​

  • After selecting a document type, you go to the camera capture screen.

Branches​

  • Country selection required:
    • You must select your country before document types are shown.
    • The list of document types is filtered to match your country.
    • If no matching types exist, fallback options may be shown.
  • Missing selection context:
    • If the required step context is missing, you are sent back to the step selection screen.
