KYC Entry (Verification Link)​

Overview​

You open a verification link, then follow the on-screen steps to complete identity checks and submit your information.

User Journey (Step-by-step)​

Route: /​

What you see:

  • On desktop: a QR code and a "copy link" option.
  • On mobile: the journey may automatically move forward after loading.
  • If your browser is not supported or the link is invalid, you see an error screen.

What you do:

  • Desktop: scan the QR code with your phone, or copy the link to open it on mobile.
  • Mobile: wait for the next screen, or close the error screen if shown.

What happens next:

  • If Terms and Conditions are required, you go to that screen first.
  • Otherwise, you go to the next required screen (step selection, profile form, email verification, phone verification, questionnaire, or video call).
  • If everything is already completed, you go to the Completion screen.

Route: /terms-and-conditions (conditional)​

What you see:

  • Scrollable terms and consent text.
  • A checkbox and continue button that are disabled until you reach the bottom.

What you do:

  • Scroll to the bottom.
  • Check "I Accept".
  • Tap the continue button.

What happens next:

  • You go to the next required screen (step selection, profile form, email verification, phone verification, questionnaire, or video call).

Route: /complete (terminal)​

What you see:

  • A completion status message (completed or not completed).
  • A Continue button.

What you do:

  • Tap Continue.

What happens next:

  • You are redirected to the business return link with your status and any error codes.

Entry Conditions​

  • You open the verification link provided by the business in a browser.
  • The link can be opened directly on mobile or via the desktop QR screen.

Exit Conditions​

  • After the Completion screen, tapping Continue redirects you to the business return link with your completion status and any error codes.

Branches​

  • Unsupported browser:
    • The entry screen shows an unsupported message; closing it redirects you to the business return link.
  • Invalid or expired link / not authorized:
    • The entry screen shows an error; closing it redirects you to the business return link.
  • Terms required:
    • Entry screen → Terms and Conditions → next required screen.
  • Video call session detected:
    • Entry screen → video call screen instead of starting document steps.
