Step Selection​

Overview​

You choose which verification step to complete next (for example, uploading an ID or taking a selfie).

User Journey (Step-by-step)​

Route: /select-step​

What you see:

  • A list of verification steps.
  • Each step may show a status (completed, pending review, processing, or needs action).
  • Some steps may be disabled until earlier steps are completed.

What you do:

  • Tap an available step to continue.

What happens next:

  • Depending on the chosen step:
    • You may go to the document type selection screen.
    • You may go to the camera capture screen.
    • You may go to the proof of address upload screen.
    • You may go to the signature screen.

Entry Conditions​

  • The journey requires you to choose a step next.

Exit Conditions​

  • Selecting a step takes you to the next screen for that step.

Branches​

  • Prerequisites:
    • Some steps remain locked until required earlier steps are completed.
  • Processing lock:
    • If the experience is still processing a previous submission, step selection may be temporarily blocked.
  • Completed steps:
    • Steps already completed or under review may not be reopened from this screen.
  • Document type selection:
    • If the chosen step offers multiple document types, you go to the document type selection screen first.
  • Proof of Address:
    • If the chosen step is proof of address, you go to the address upload screen.
  • Signature:
    • If the chosen step is signature, you go to the signature screen.
  • Completion:
    • If all steps become completed while you are on this screen, you are automatically taken to the Completion screen.
